Persatuan BruKeele dengan ini telah mengadakan Acara Tadarus Al-Quran selama 5 minggu berturut-turut sebagai platform untuk menyertai Majlis Khatam Al-Quran yang akan diadakan pada 28^th March 2015. BruKeele dengan ini akan mula membaca dari juz 10 – 19 dan kedua-dua Pegawai Ugama BruKeele telah pun menetapkan (In sha Allah) tarikh bagi mengadakan majlis tadarus bagi peserta-peserta yang mengikutinya seperti berikut :

• Khamis, 12hb Feb 2015
• Khamis, 19hb Feb 2015
• Khamis, 26 Feb 2015

Jam : 07.00 Selepas selesai solat Isya' sehingga 8.30

Tempat : Barnes Islamic Centre

Tujuan: Tadarus untuk Khatam Al-Quran, sama-sama membantu rakan dalam membaca Al-Quran, mendapat ganjaran pahala, makan2 (In Sha Allah)

Daripada Ibnu Mas’ud r.a. ia berkata : “Barangsiapa yang membaca satu huruf daripada al- Quran maka baginya satu kebaikan, satu kebaikan menyamai dengan sepuluh pahala, aku tidak bermaksud : Alif , Lam , Mim ialah satu huruf, tetapi Alif satu huruf, Lam satu huruf dan Mim satu huruf”.(Hadis Riwayat Ad Darimi Tarmizi)

Majlis Tahlil, Yaasin dan Doa Kesyukuran, bersempena dengan Hari Kebangsaan Negara Brunei Darussalam ke-31

Alhamdulillah - Negara Brunei Darussalam telah mengecapi kemerdekaan selama 31-tahun dan  Persatuan BruKeele dengan ini telah mengadakan acara ‘Doa Kesyukuran’ pada 22 Februari 2015M bersamaan dengan 3 Jamadil-Awal 1436H bersempena dengan Hari Kebangsaan Brunei yang ke-31 tahun sebagai tanda syukur kehadrat Allah diatas limpah kurnia-Nya keatas Negara kita yang tercinta – Brunei Darussalam

Disamping itu, tujuan acara ini diadakan adalah untuk mengeratkan silaturahim bukan sahaja dikalangan Orang Islam namun bagi setiap pelajar Brunei yang menuntut di Keele University. Tambahan pula, ini adalah sebagai tanda sokongan kepada Sultan dan Negara kita untuk menjadikan Negara Brunei Darussalam sebagai sebuah Negara Zikir.

Bacaan Yassin, Tahlil dan Doa Kesyukuran telah diketuai oleh Awang Munir Ibrahim selaku Pegawai Ugama Persatuan BruKeele sesi 2015/2016 dan acara ini turut dihadiri oleh Mantan Presiden Persatuan BruKeele sesi 2014/2015, Awang Cedric Loo. Acara ini telah berlangsung di Masjid Keele University dan Barnes Social Space. 

Terima kasih diucapkan kepada semua yang hadir. Semoga doa kita akan dimakbulkan oleh Allah Subhanahu Wataala. Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin….

Brukeele Committee Dinner 2015

Assalamualaikum,

On the 11th of February 2015, the newly appointed Committee and ex BruKeele committee gathered for their annual dinner, where they are able to mingle and let loose before the roles and responsibilities were passed down to the new members. The dinner was held in Rose of Kashmir where 15 members were present.

The dinner began with Cedric Loo welcoming all members who were present followed by a do'a recitation by Munir Ibrahim. After this, it was then time to eat and feast our tummies.

After the dinner, we had a photo session and left to our respective homes.

Annual General Meeting 2015

Assalamualaikum,

On the 4th of February 2015, BruKeele held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) where all BruKeele members gathered to find out who the newly elected committee members were.

The event started off with Cedric (BruKeele President 2014/15) welcoming everyone, followed by a Do'a recitation from Firas Ibrahim. The AGM then commenced and started to take place.

The 2014/15 BruKeele Committee also brought up issues that were important for members to take note of in the following weeks and months.
