Assalamualaikum!
On the 4th October 2014, 10 Zulhijjah
1435 Islamic Calendar the Brukeele had held an event to celebrate the Eid
Adha. The event started off in the
Barnes Islamic centre for the Isya’ Jemaah prayer, led by the current religious
officer Firas Ibrahim, and continued on to the Takbir Hari Raya.
The events then moved on to the Barnes Social Space where members
enjoyed some foods and mingled with each other as this would be the first
Brukeele society event for the new academic year. The current president of the society,
Cedric Loo, gave a mini speech to welcome current and new students and to promise
for a formal welcoming in the near future.

and for those who weren’t able, we hope to see you in the near future. Eid
